Lady and her leg

The vet determined on Thursday that a ligament in Lady's back leg is only sprained. That is why she is limping and will not put weight on that leg. He put her on medication for 2 weeks and wanted us to limit her activity. Hopefully that will take care of it. If not, they will have to do surgery to repair the ligament.

Needless to say, restricting her activity is not something Lady likes. No more running with Jena when she takes walks or going out in the pasture with Dad to check cattle and chase rabbits. Yesterday she didn't mind being locked on the porch since it was snowing outside. She just stayed cuddled up in her bed. But this morning she was ready to go with Dad as he went in the pick-up. After he left, she just stood by the door and whined. She won't be very content, but at least it's only for 2 weeks.
