Fresh apple pie - yummy!

Last week Dad picked a ton of apples of off our apple trees. Usually we do not get much fruit from our trees because the late frost in the spring kills the buds, which was the case with the apricots, cherries and peaches. But the apple trees survived and we have had plenty of fresh apples.

So Friday I decided to make a fresh apple pie. It has been a while since I have made an apple pie with fresh apples, but it tasted oh-so-good! Out of the leftover apples I had peeled and sliced, I made into an apple crisp. There are still plenty of apples for munching on!
